Two things:

Since the dollar is almost par with the US, it's a really good time for Canadians to shop in the states. So let's plan a shopping trip!!

It's also a good time to convert your CAD to USD. If you have a large sum of money sitting in the bank and your not planning on touching it for a while, consider exchanging it for US dollars. At this time you'd lose the least amount of money in the conversion. Eventually, our dollar will go back down and you can change it back to Canadian to make a profit.

Now, there is always the chance that the Canadian dollar will rise above the US dollar, in which case you would suffer a loss if you needed to change it back. I don't think that will happen, but don't come crying to me if it does!

MOMS ADVICE

Drumsticks are a staple in my household as of late. I was complaining to my mom about how hard it is to eat a Drumstick without getting nuts all over you. She had such good advice for me, I thought I would share it with you.

1. Open the wrapper
2. Eat the Drumstick over the wrapper and allow the nuts to fall into it
3. When you get past the outer layer of the nuts, dip the exposed ice cream in the nuts that are left over in your wrapper!

"More bang for your buck" she says.

Ok, I know the first part of that is common sense, but dipping your ice cream in the nuts after is genius!

Some advice you may not have asked for, but you'll be saying "Thank you, Cindy" the next time you eat a Drumstick.

GREEN SMOKE

The Green Smoke has to be one of the coolest inventions in a while. It's a electronic cigarette that you can smoke pretty much anywhere with no lingering smell afterwards. I've never been a cigarette smoker, but the flavoured nicotine cartridges such as Apple, Coffee, Menthol, Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry are tempting!

You can choose between 5 different levels of Nicotine: 0mg, 4mg, 6mg, 8mg, and 16mg. You inhale from one end of the cigarette and a red light appears at the opposite end that assumes the likeness of a burning ember on a real cigarette. You breathe in the flavour and your desired amount of nicotine, and exhale what appears to be steam.

I was flipping through my yearbook today and got a little nostalgic! Oh the way things once were...

It's funny how much things can change in such a short period of time. I'll always love all the friends I went to high school with. I don't think it's something I have to tell them though - they know.

Looking at the comments in my yearbooks from grade 8 to grade 12, the comments gradually get longer and fewer. You can really build some close friendships in 5 years.

To my Grad 08 family.. HAGS! :P
