Roc-a-fella dropped a few of their artists recently, and really who's making any big hits on the label other than Kanye? Apparently the Roc Nation deal landed him a cool $150 mil, which is success in itself, but it was a little hard to tell if to tell if Roc Nation was going to be a successful venture for Jay-Z.. Until this dude came along...

I slept on this mixtape release a little bit and I was warned before I heard it that there was a whole lot of "CANNON!!" through all the tracks. Now I've finally heard it and my goodness, Don Cannon's constant name plugging really takes away from the music. Although I guess that could be said for almost any song that Don Cannon has anything to do with the production of, so I can't be mad at the Cool Kids. Even so, I had a hard time getting into some of the songs, completely unlike The Bake Sale EP. . ah well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for When Fish Ride Bicycles.
I love Jahda's relaxed, laid back flow on this.
I find a lot of female rapper's feel like they have something to prove as a chick in the game so they rap a lot harder and more in your face than they need to.. Kind of reminds me of that scene in Notorious when Biggie tells Lil Kim to switch up her flow when she's wearing that hoochie suspenders-without-a-shirt-on ensemble... ya smell me?
Nuff bout Jahda though cuz it's all about THE COOL KIDS!

So I googled this dudes movie track record.. He's got sixth sense, signs, and a bunch of other fairly sick movies so I don't doubt that he'll be able to take Avatar the Airbender from Nickelodeon and turn it into a blockbuster smash.

I hope they don't fuck up the gameplay like they did for XII. The character looks a lot like Yuna when she was a gunner in FX-2 but like every epic trailer I've seen for FF in the past, you really can't tell if the game is going to be good or not until you play it. But what's this?? It isn't going to be exclusive to playstation? Props Square Enix.

For months I've been looking for reasons to hate on Lady gaga but I can't pretend anymore damnit!I love the Gaga. Her vocals are pretty formidable and she can wear whatever the fuck she wants. To me, she's pretty much cemented herself in the music scene as a bad ass bitch.

Married to the Mob's first ever colabo with Nike and I love what this girl is doing. Leah Mcsweeney used the same fabric Chanel uses for it's high-end boots and pumps. Personally, I dislike when an artist or designer does a colabo with Nike and totally overkills the shoe. I find this shoe represents MTTM to the fullest, has a touch of that Chanel class, and is perfectly understated all at the same time.
Christmas isn't for a while but you know what's on my wish list. Size 8!
