Let me explain how came to find this piece of Japanese brilliance.
I was listening to La Roux's Bulletproof..
..And for some reason I thought a section of the song sounded a lot like the sound of the Super Mario tube (The noise the tube makes when you press down while you're standing on it)
So, I search my good friend YouTube for "Mario tube sound" and discover this little Tamagotchi lookalike that when pressed, makes the Mario tube noise! Hurrah!
I am aware that the novelty of such toy would wear off within minutes of use.. but I want one anyway. I opted to delve deeper into this world of "Sound Drops" and found all sorts of different sound effects! The Kamehameha from Dragon Ball Z, sounds from the Legend of Zelda and this:
